need explanation?

okk see

EXPLANATION

let the number of days is X after which 5 men would leave the work ...

SO THEY LEFT AFTER X DAYS THAT MEANS THEY HAVE WORKED FOR X DAYS ALSO....

NOW LET THEY DIDN'T LEFT THE WORK THEN THE REMAINING WORK SHOULD BE DONE BY THEM IN (30-X)DAYS.....

I.E.,20 PEAOPLE CAN DO THIS REMAINING WORK IN (30-X) DAYS....

NOW 5 MENS LEAVED SO THE REMAING PEOPLE =(20-5)=15 mens SHOULD HAVE completed this work within (35-x) days cause X days have already gone

so the REMAING work should be done in

so the REMAING work should be done in =(30-x)*(20/15) days

so the REMAING work should be done in =(30-x)*(20/15) days now this is equal to (35-x) days

now according to the question

35=[(30-x)*(20/15)]+X

35=40-4x/3 +X

X/3 =5

X=15 days

so the answer is after 15 days 5 men's leaved the work
