 \underline{ \blue { At \: present :}}

 Age \:of \:a \:  Man = x \: years

 Age \:of \: a\: Woman  = ( 90 - x )\: years

 \underline{ \blue { Twenty \: seven \: years \: ago:}}

 Age \:of \:a \:  Man = (x - 27) \: years

/* According to the problem given */

 x - 27= \frac{1}{2} ( 90-x)

 \implies 2(x-27) = 90 - x

 \implies 2x - 54 = 90 - x

 \implies 2x + x   = 90 + 54

 \implies 3x   = 144

 \implies  x   = \frac{144}{3}

 \implies x = 48

 \underline{ \blue { At \: present :}}

 Age \:of \:the \:  Man = x  = 48\: years

 Age \:of \: the\: Woman  = ( 90 - 48 )\: years\\= 42\:years
