Twenty tiles weigh 5 kg. How much do 7 tiles weigh? If a man wants to carry no more than 12 kg, how many times can there be in one load?

20 tiles = 5 kg
1 tile = 5/20 kg = 1/4 kg
7 tiles = 1/4 x 7 = 7/4 kg

Again
5 kg = 20 tiles
1 kg = 20/5 = 4 tiles
12 kg  = 4 x 12 = 48 tiles

Hence, in one load there are 48 tiles.

Hope This Helps You!

Weight of  20 tiles = 5 kg
Weight of 1 tile = 20  ÷ 5 = 4 kg

Weight of  7  tiles = 4 × 7 = 28 kg

No : of tiles in 12 kg = 12 × 4 = 48 tiles

No: of tiles in 1 load of 12 kg = 48 tiles
