​Twice the complement of an angle is 35° less than the supplement of the angle. Find the angle.

complemnent=90-x
supplement=180-x

2(x-90)=(180-x)-35
2x-180=180-x-35
3x=345
x=115

Let the angle be x.

Now, complement=90-x

         supplement= 180-x

Now, as per the question

2(90-x)+35=180-x

180-2x+35=180-x

35=2x-x [180 gets cancelled]

x=35

Therefore the required angle is 35°.
