Step-by-step explanation:

let the fraction be x/y

According to question

twice the numerator

twice the numeratoris 2 more than the denominator

2x=y+2

2x-y-2=0.................(1)

And

if 3 is added both numerator and

denominator the fraction becomes

x+3/y+3=2/3

3(x+3)=2(y+3)

3x+9=2y+6

3x-2y+3=0..................(2)

Now

substract equations (1)×2- equation (2)

2[2x-y-2]-[3x-2y+3]=0

4x-2y-4-3x+2y-3=0

x-7=0

x=7

put x value in equation (1)

then

2×7-y-2=0

14-y-2=0

-y+12=0

-y=-12

y=12

therefore the fraction is 7/12
