Two adjacent angle of a parallelogram are 5 x + 65 and 85 - 2x find each angle

ANSWER

Sum of adjacent angles of a parallelogram is 180°.

Here the two adjacent angles are :-

5x + 65 and 85 -2x

So,

⇒(5x + 65) + (85 - 2x) = 180

⇒5x + 65 + 85 - 2x = 180

⇒5x -2x + 150 = 180

⇒3x = 180 - 150

⇒x = 30/3

⇒x = 10.

∴First side = 5x + 65 = 50 + 65 =115.

Second angle = 85 - 2x = 85 - 20 = 65.
