in a parallelogram, adjacent angles always add up to 180° or they form a linear pair or supplementary

=> 2x + 25 + 3x - 5 = 180

=> 5x + 20 = 180

=> 5x = 180 - 20

=> 5x = 160

=> x = 160/5

=> x = 32
