We know that sum of two adjacent angles of parallelogram = 180°

Let the first adjacent angle be x
and Second adjacent angle be 3x.

A/Q,

=> x+3x = 180°

=> 4x = 180°

=> x = 180°/4

=> x = 45°

Hence, First adjacent angle = x = 45°

And Second adjacent angle = 3x = 3 x 45° = 135°


Hence smallest angle = 45°
