  \huge\tt{Given: }

Two adjacent angles of a line are in the ratio 5:4.

 \huge \tt{To  \: find}

value of each of these angles.

 \huge \tt{Solution: }

Let the value of one part as angle be x°

Therefore, we have as under:

The value of first angle= 5x

The value of second angle= 4x

According to the question:

5x+4x= 180°

9x=180° therefore , x=180°/9=20°

Finally the values of first and second angles are:

(1) first angle=5x =5×20° =100°

(2) second angle=4x=4×20° =80°

(1) -1

(2) -2
