Answer:
sum of adjacent sides is 180
1x + 5x = 180
6x, 180
x= 180/6=30
1x = 30
5x = 150
opposite sides are equal

☆ Given :
- Two adjacent angles are in ratio 1 : 5
☆ To find :
- The value of all the angles of the parallelogram.
☆ Solution :
Let's assume the adjacent angles of the parallelogram as 1x or x and 5x.
Let,
- ∠A = x
- ∠B = 5x
So,
➝ ∠A + ∠B = 180°⠀⠀[Co - interior angle]
➝ x + 5x = 180°
➝ 6x = 180°
➝ x = 180/6
➝ x = 30°
Therefore,
∠A = x = 30°
Also ∠A = ∠C = 30° (Opposite angles)
And ,
∠B = 5x = 5×30 = 150°
Also ∠B = ∠D = 150° (Opposite angles)
Therefore,
- All the angles of the parallelogram are : 30°,150°,30°,150° respectively.
