Let height of base 8 cm be z
Since, Area= base×height
Area= 12× 6
Area = 72cm
Then,
With base as 8 cm
Area= Base × height
72 cm= 8 × z
72÷8 cm = z
9 cm= z
Hence, length of altitude corresponding to side 8 cm is 9 cm.

Answer:9cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let height of base 8 cm be z

Since, Area= base×height

Area= 12× 6

Area = 72cm

Then,

With base as 8 cm

Area= Base × height

72 cm= 8 × z

72÷8 cm = z

9 cm= z

Hence, length of altitude corresponding to side 8 cm is 9 cm.
