perimeter of a parallelogram is 2(a+b)

a=3cm

b=5cm

perimeter =2(a+b)

                =2(3+5)

                =2(8)

                =16cm

The opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal hence if we have a parallelogram ABCD, AB=CD=5 cm and BC=AD=3 cm

Perimeter= AB+BC+CD+AD

=3+5+3+5

=16 cm
