Two adjacent sides of a parallelogram are 12 cm and 8cm. If the length of the altitude corresponding to the sides12 cm is 6cm,find the length of the altitude correspondimlng to the side8 cm

Area of parallelogram = one side × corresponding altitude.

A = 12 cm × 6 cm = 72 cm²

Also, Area of parallelogram = altitude-1 × altitude-2

72 cm² = 12 cm × altitude-2

6 cm = altitude-2
