Let ABCD is the given parallelogram AB = 12 cm. And its corresponding height (h1) = 6 cm BC = 8cm and its corresponding height = h2 cm Area = base * corresponding height BC* h2 = AB* h1 8*h2 = 12* 6 h2 = 12*6/8 h2 = 9 cm
