Let the common ratio be x.

So 2x:3x and two times their sum = 50 cm.

2(2x+3x)=50.
2(5x)=50.
10x=50.
x=5.

Now,as we found the common ratio the length of the sides are:

2x=10cm.
3x=15cm.

Let sides are ( 2x and 3x )

Perimeter of ||gm = 50

=> 2( 2x + 3x ) = 50

=> 2( 5x ) = 50

=> 10x = 10 × 5

=> x = 5 cm

Hence, sides are

• 2x = 2( 5 ) = 10 cm
• 3x = 3( 5 ) = 15 cm
