Two adjacent sides of a parallelogram are in the ratio 5:3 the perimeter of the parallelogram is 48cm.Find the length of each of its sides

Answer:

5k and 3k


Perimeter of parallelogram= 2l+2b


2×5k +2× 3k = 48

10k +6k =48

K= 48/16

k=3


So sides of parallelogram are 15cm,15cm ,9cm & 9cm.
