Area of parallelogram is 34.83cm²

Parallelogram = ABCD  (Given)

AB =7cm  (Given)

AD = 5cm (Given)

BD = 9cm  (Given)

Area of AB = √ s (s−a)(s−b)(s−c)

= √10.5 (10.5−9) (10.5−7) (10.5−5) where s = 5+7+9/2 = 10.5

= √10.5 × 1.5 × 3.5 × 5.5

= √105/10 × 15/10 × 35/10 × 55/10

= 1/100√ 5 × 3 × 7 × 3 × 5 × 5 × 7 × 5 × 11

= 25 × 3 × 7/100 √11

= 21/4(3.317)

= 17.414cm²

Therefore, the area of parallelogram is -

= 2 × 17.414

= 34.83cm²

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of parallelogram is 34.83cm²

Parallelogram = ABCD  (Given)

AB =7cm  (Given)

AD = 5cm (Given)

BD = 9cm  (Given)

Area of AB = √ s (s−a)(s−b)(s−c)

= √10.5 (10.5−9) (10.5−7) (10.5−5) where s = 5+7+9/2 = 10.5

= √10.5 × 1.5 × 3.5 × 5.5

= √105/10 × 15/10 × 35/10 × 55/10

= 1/100√ 5 × 3 × 7 × 3 × 5 × 5 × 7 × 5 × 11

= 25 × 3 × 7/100 √11

= 21/4(3.317)

= 17.414cm²

Therefore, the area of parallelogram is -

= 2 × 17.414

= 34.83cm²
