Two adjacent sides of a parallelogram is in the ratio 5:6, Find the sides of the parallelogram if its perimeter is 308 cm

Answer:

Let the adjacent side be 5x and 7x respectively.

We know that opposite sides of parallelogram are equal and opposite

So, 5x+7x+5x+7x=24x [Perimeter]

Given, 24x=72

x=3

Hence length of sides of parallelogram are 5×3 and 7×3 or 15 cm and 21 cm.
