Two adjacent sides of a parallelogram measures 36cm and 24cm. If the distance between the longer sides of the parallelogram measures 15cm, Find the distance between its shorter sides.

Distance Between the longer sides  = 15 cm

Hence area of Parallelogram = 36 * 15  cm²

Let say Distance between Shorter Sides = S  cm

Then area of Parallelogram = 24 * S  cm²

Equating Areas

=> 24 * S  = 36 * 15

=> 2S = 3 * 15

=> 2S = 45

=> S = 22.5

Distance between Shorter sides = 22.5 cm
