Two adjacent sides of parallelogram ABCD are 16 cm and 11 cm respectively. If the altitude corresponding to side BC of the parallelogram be 8cm ,find the length of other altitude AE.​

the corresponding base and height are:Base=11 cm

Height=8 cm

Area of parallelogram= Base × height

Area of parallelogram ABCD= 11cm×8cm= 88 cm²

Another base of the parallelogram= 16cm

The corresponding altitude( AE)=Area÷base

Length of AE= 88÷16=5.5cm
