Area of Parallelogram = 672 cm² and distance between its shorter sides = 25.84 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Diagonal divides parallelogram in two equal area of triangles

Sides on one traingle

28 cm , 26 cm & 30 cm

s = (28 + 26 + 30)/2  = 42

Area of Triangle = √(42)(42 - 28)(42 - 26)(42 -30)

=√42 * 14 * 16 * 12

= √3 * 14 * 14 * 16 * 4 * 3

= 3 * 14 * 4 * 2

= 336  cm²

Area of Parallelogram = 2 * 336  = 672 cm²

the distance between its shorter sides

=> Shorter side *  distance between its shorter sides = Area of Parallelogram

=> 26 * distance between its shorter sides =  672

=> distance between its shorter sides = 25.84 cm
