Answer:

Given :-

  • The two adjacent sides of a parallelogram are 3 cm and 4 cm respectively.

To Find :-

  • What is the perimeter of the parallelogram.

Formula Used :-

\clubsuit Perimeter Of Parallelogram Formula :

\bigstar \: \: \sf\boxed{\bold{Perimeter_{(Parallelogram)} =\: 2(l + b)}}\: \: \: \bigstar\\

where,

  • l = Length
  • b = Breadth

Solution :-

Given :

  • Length of Parallelogram = 3 cm
  • Breadth of Parallelogram = 4 cm

According to the question by using the formula we get,

\implies \bf Perimeter_{(Parallelogram)} =\: 2(l + b)\\

\implies \sf Perimeter_{(Parallelogram)} =\: 2(3 + 4)\\

\implies \sf Perimeter_{(Parallelogram)} =\: 2(7)\\

\implies \sf Perimeter_{(Parallelogram)} =\: (2 \times 7)\\

\implies \sf Perimeter_{(Parallelogram)} =\: (14)\\

\implies \sf\bold{Perimeter_{(Parallelogram)} =\: 14\: cm}\\

\small \sf\bold{\underline{\therefore\: The\: perimeter\: of\: the\: parallelogram\: is\: 14\: cm\: .}}\\
