Two aeroplanes leave two dierent airports, 1000km apart from each other, at 9h00 in the morning.
They fly towards each other.
The one flies at a speed of 250km/h and the other at 350km/h.
At what time will they pass each other?

aeroplanes are flying in opposite direction ,therefore

relative speed = 250 + 350 = 600km/hr

distance = 1000km

time aeroplanes will take to pass each other = 1000/600 =5/3 hr

= 5/3 *60 = 100mins = 1hr 40 minutes

aeroplanes will pass each other

at = 9:00AM + 1hr40min

= 10:40AM Answer
