Let v1 & v2 be the frequencies of tonesof 2 air-column of resonant tubes of lenghts l1 &l2 respectively.......
V1= vl4l1 v2= vl4l2.........
Velocity of sound
= 4l1l2 (V1-V2)/l2-l1
V= 4×1.0×1.01*17/ (1.01-1.0)*20
=68.68/0.2
=343.4m/sec...is the answer..
