purchase price of two almirahs = 7800

additional cost include transportation= 200

Total Cost = 7800 + 200 = 8000

Cost of each one = 8000/2 = 4000

If one of them Sold at 40% profit..then selling price= 4000 + 40% = 4000 + 1600 = 5600

other one Sold at 40% loss ..then 4000 - 1600 = 2400

Total sales price = 5600 + 2400 = 8000

we know that the price will remain same.as the profit and loss rates are equal...

so the cost price of each with remain..same..That it ..8000/2 = 4000

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Total cost =7800+200=8000

Now:

The cost of each almirah= 4000

So, the sp of each almirah

4000× 100 +40/100 =5600rs

Other

4000×100-40/100 =2400rs ans

Hence , the CP of each almirah =5600 and 2400 ans
