so the larger area equal to 4a

resistivity equal to t

resistance of smaller area equal to r = 100 ohm

resistance of larger area equal to R

so

resistance = resistivity × length / area of cross section

r = t l / a

and

R = t l / 4a

= 1/4 ( t l / a )

= 1/4 ( r )

= 1/4 (100)

R = 25 ohm.
