Find the amount of paint needed for 1 m²:

727 m² = 2 1/2 litres

727 m² = 5/2 litres

1 m² = 5/2  ÷ 727

1 m² = 5/1454 litres

Find the amount of paint needed for 2001 m²:

1 m² = 5/1454 litres

2001 m² = 5/1454 x 2001 = 6.88 litres

Answer: 6.88 litres

Given

2 1/2 litres = 2x2+1/2 = 5/2 litres

If 5/2 litres paint is used to cover 727 m^2 of area.

Then how many litres required to paint 2001 m^2

5/2 = 727

? = 2001

2001 x 5/2 = 5002.5

5002.5 ÷ 727= 6.88

= 6.88 litres

 \bold{6.88 \: litres \: required \: to \: paint \: 2001 \:m^2 \: of \: area}
