Answer:

The other angles of quadrilateral is 99° and 101° .

Step-by-step Explanation

To Find :-

  • The other angles of quadrilateral, having the angles as 70°, 90°, (2x - 1)° and (2x + 1)°

Solution

As we know that,

Sum of all angles of quadrilateral measures 360°.

Therefore,

  • 70° + 90° + (2x - 1)° + (2x + 1)° = 360°

On solving,

➝ 70 + 90 + (2x - 1) + (2x + 1) = 360

➝ 70 + 90 + 2x - 1 + 2x + 1 = 360

➝ 160 + 2x - 1 + 2x + 1 = 360

➝ 160 + 4x - 1 + 1 = 360

➝ 160 + 4x = 360

➝ 4x = 360 - 160

➝ 4x = 200

➝ x = 200/4

➝ x = 50

We got, The value of x as 50.

So, The other angles of quadrilateral are :-

  • (2x - 1)° = (2*50 - 1)° = (100 - 1)° = 99°
  • (2x + 1)° = (2*50 + 1)° = (100 + 1)° = 101°

∴ The other angles are 99° and 101°.
