Answer:

let the two angles be x,6x

increase the angles by 20°that becomes x+20°,6x+20°

sum of supplementary angles is 180°..

x+20+6x+20=180

7x+40°=180

7x=180-50

7x=140

x=20°...

6x=6(20)=120°

therefore the angles are 20°,120°...

Answer:

20° AND 120°

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the common factor of the angles be x

The angles are x and 6x

If the angles are added by 20°, the angles are (x + 20)° and (6x + 20)° which are supplementary

x + 20 + 6x + 20 = 180°

7x + 40 = 180

7x = 180 - 40

7x = 140

x = 140/7

x = 20

The angles are

x = 20°

6x = 6 × 20 = 120°
