Two angles are in the ratio 4:5. Find the angles if they are complementary and supplementary to each other.

if the angles are complementry to each other

let the given ratio of angles multiplied by x.

then 4x+5x =90 degree

..... 9x= 90 degree

x= 90/9

x=10 degree

therefore first complementry angle =

=4*10=40degree

another complementry angle= 5x=5*10=50

x= 180/9
