Let 1 angle be x
so another angle = 1 / 3 x
As they are making linear pair so sum of angles = 180
x + 1 / 3 x = 180
3x + 1x / 3 = 180
4x = 180 * 3
x = 180 * 3 / 4
x = 540 / 4
x = 135
Hence one angle = x = 135
Another angle = 1 / 3 x = 1 / 3 * 135
Another angle = 45

let take an angle is x
another angle is x/3
x+x/3 =180
4x/3 =180
4x= 180×3
x=180×3/4
x=135
x/3=135/3=45
