x+y=180 x= 180-y
3x=y+140
3(180-y)= y+140
540-3y= y+140
400=4y
y=100
x=180-y
180-100=80
x+y=180 x= 180-y

=> 4x-140 =180
=> 4x=180+140 =320.
=> x=320/4 =80.
