Let the two angle be x and y

x+y = 180 .....(1)

Let x be larger angle
x= 3y - 20
x-3y = -20 .......(2)

solving by elimination

x+y =180
x-3y = -20
-  +      +
= 4y = 200
y = 50

x+y = 180
x = 180- 50
x = 130
