Two angles are supplemty if one of the angles is 8x+20 and the other is 3x-5 what is the measure of both angles

Solution :

Sum of 2 supplementary angles = 180°

8x + 20 + 3x - 5 = 180

11x + 15 = 180

11x = 165

x = 15

Angles are 140° and 40°.
