QUESTION :- Two angles in a linear pair are in ratio of 1:2. Find the value of x.

ANSWER:-

Let x be the angle.

The sum of angles in a linear pair is 180°.

So ATQ =>>

x + 2x = 180°

 3x = 180°

x =  \frac{180}{3} °

x = 60°

Thus the two angles are :-

1x = 60°

2x = 120°

[NOTE :- THE BIGGER ANGLE IS 120°]
