Two angles measure (30°-a) and (125°-a).if each one is the supplement of the other then find the value of a.

Given that the angles are supplementary ( Sum of them equals a straight angle.

Now,
=> (30-a)+(125-a) = 180
=> 30-a + 125 -a = 180
=> 155 -2a = 180
=> -2a = 180-55
=> -2a = 25
=> a = -12.5

Hello...

 (30-a)+(125-a) = 180
30-a + 125 -a = 180
155 -2a = 180
-2a = 180-55
-2a = 25
a = -12.5
