two angles measure x - 60° and 123° - 2 x if each one is opposite to equal sides of an isosceles triangle then find the value of x

Solution :

We know that ,

Angles opposite to equal sides are

equal .

Now ,

x - 60° = 123° - 2x

=> x + 2x = 123° + 60°

=> 3x = 183°

=> x = 183°/3

=> x = 61

Therefore ,

Value of x = 61
