Question

Two angles of a parallelogram are in the ratio5:7. Find the measure of all the angles.

Answer

Let the angles be 5x and 7x

Sum of adjacent angles of a parallelogram is 180°

According to the question,

5x + 7x = 180°

12x = 180°

x = 180° ÷ 12

x = 15

Now the angles are,

5x = 5 × 15 = 75°

7x = 7 × 15 = 105°

Hence the measure of all angles are 75°,105°,75°,105°.

Answer:

Let the ratio will be X

then the two angles are 5x and 7x

As u know that opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal the the angle will be 5x, 5x ,7x and 7x

And sum of all angles of a parallelogram is 360 so

5x+5x+7x+7x= 360

24x= 360

X= 360/24= 15

so the angles will be

5x= 5×15= 75..........1st

5x= 5×15= 75..........2nd

7x= 7×15= 105..........3rd

7x= 7×15= 105..........4th
