Given:-

Two angles of a triangle are 55˚ and 40°.

To Find:-

The measure of the third angle.

Solution:-

We know,

The sum of all angles of a triangle is 180°.

So,

Let a triangle ABC such that A = 55°, B = 40°

 \therefore ATQ,

A + B + C = 180°

55° + 40° + C = 180°

95° + C = 180°

C = 180° - 95°

C = 85°

Therefore, the measure of the third angle is 85°.

Hence, option (d) 85° is correct. [Ans]
