Given : Two angles of a triangle are 70◦ and 80◦

The vertices of the triangle are on a circle of radius 3.5cm

To Find  :  Construct the triangle.

Solution:

Two angles of a triangle are  70°  and 80°

Sum of angles of a triangle = 180°

Hence third angle = 30°

The vertices of the triangle are on a circle

Hence angle inscribed by side opposite to  30° angle at center = 2 * 30° =60°

so that side will be equal to the radius of circle = 3.5 cm

as that side with radii will form equilateral triangle

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB = 3.5 cm

Step 2 : Using protector Draw an angle of 70° at A  on AB

Step 3 : Using protector Draw an angle of 80° at B on AB

Step 4 : Both angle meets at C

ΔABC  is the required triangle
