To Find:-

  • The measure of all the angles

Given:-

  • Two angles of a triangle are equal
  • And the thrid angle is greater than each one of them 27°

Solution:-

Let the two equal angles be x° and let the third angle be ( x + 27 )°

We know that, a triangle measures 180°

So,

step-by-step explanation:

⟹ x + x + ( x + 27 ) = 180

⟹ 2x + x + 27 = 180

⟹ 3x + 27 = 180

⟹ 3x = 180 - 27

⟹ 3x = 153

⟹ x = 153/3

⟹ x = 51

  • The first and second angles are:- 51° and 51° respectively.

  • The third angle

= ( x + 27 )

= ( 51 + 27 )

= 78°

So, The angles are:-

  • 51°
  • 51°
  • 78°

Now, Verification

⟹ 51° + 51° + 78° = 180°

⟹ 102° + 78° = 180°

⟹ 180° = 180°

L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence, Proved
