Let the first angle=x

second angle=x

third angle=x+18

x+x+x+18=180

3x=180-18

3x=162

x=162/3

=54

54,54,72

Angles = 54° , 54° & 72°

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

  • Two angles of a triangle are equal.
  • Third angle is greater than each one by 18°.

To Find:

  • What is the measure of all angles?

Solution: Let the equal angles be of each. Therefore,

➮ 1st angle = 2nd angle = x°

➮ 3rd angle = (x + 18)°

As we know that

Sum of angle of = 180°

\implies{\rm } ( 1st + 2nd + 3rd ) angle = 180°

\implies{\rm } ( x + x + x + 18 ) = 180°

\implies{\rm } 3x + 18 = 180°

\implies{\rm } 3x = 180 18

\implies{\rm } 3x = 162

\implies{\rm } x = 162/3

\implies{\rm } x = 54°

So,

➯ Measure of first and second angle is x = 54°

➯ Meaure of third angle = (x + 18)

=> (54 + 18) = 72°
