Answer:

Let the 1st angle be x

Then,

2nd angle=2x(As they are in ratio1:2)

3rd angle=x+2x=3x

Then,

x+2x+3x=180

6x=180

x=180/6

x=30

Then,

1st angle=30 deg.

2nd angle =2×30=60 deg

3rd angle =3×30=90deg.

There are 3 different angles due to this this is scalene triangle

Hi,

Here is your answer

Given:

Ratio of angle1 to angle2=1:2

Sum of the two angles =third angle

To Find:

The angles of the triangle and type of the triangle

Solution:

Let us take the first angle as x and second angle as 2x

Therefore the third angle=x+2x=3x

According to angle sum property, the sum of all three angles=180°

x+2x+3x=180°

6x=180°

x=30°

Therefore

First angle=x=30°

Second angle=2x=2×30=60°

Third angle=3x=3×30=90°

Since one of the angles of the triangle is a right angle, it is a right angled triangle.

Also since none of the angles are equal, it is a scalene triangle.

Notes:

  • In an equilateral triangle, all sides are equal and all angles are 60°
  • In an isosceles triangle, two of the sides are equal and base angles are equal.
  • In a scalene triangle, none of the sides and angles are equal.

Hope this helps you.
