GiveN:-

Two angles of a triangle measures 60° and 22° respectively.

To FinD:-

The measure of the third angle.Also write which type of angle is this.

SolutioN:-

Let the other angle be x.

We know that all angles of a triangle sum upto 180°.

Therefore,

\large\implies{\sf{60\degree+22\degree+x=180\degree}}

\large\implies{\sf{82\degree+x=180\degree}}

\large\implies{\sf{x=180\degree-82\degree}}

\large\therefore\boxed{\bf{x=98\degree}}

The other angle is 98°.

So, it is an obtuse angle.

ExplorE MorE:-

  • Acute angle:-

Acute angle is an angle which is more than 0° but less than 90°.

  • Right angle:-

Right angle is an angle whose measure is 90°.

  • Obtuse angle:-

Obtuse angle is an angle which is more than 90° but less than 180°.

  • Reflex angle:-

Reflex angle is an angle which is more than 180° but less than 360°.
