Tiger and Lion have 19 pair of chromosome or 38 chromosomes.  

Explanation:

In asexual reproduction the chromosome number is remain same but in the sexual reproduction the chromosome is diploid or 2n. An organism with the multiple of diploid number of chromosome is called polyploidy.

This is very normal condition in plant but rare in animal. The example of the polyploidy in plant is potato and in animal is African frog.
