Given

Two A.P whose Common difference are same:-

Let d for 3rd and 2nd term,

(a+3d)-(a+2d)=d

(b+3d)-(b+2d)=d

where,

a= -1

b= -8

Solution➠

Let us know,

WHAT IS A.P?

A.P stands for Arithmetic Progression.

where series is a sequence of numbers such that the difference between the consecutive terms is constant.

Now come to Question:-

Let Difference between 4th term of both ap be x,

then

x=(b+3d)-(a+3d) or (a+3d)-(b+3d)

Let substitute the value of a and b,(Value Given)

x=(-8+3d)-(-1+3d) or (-1+3d)-(-8+3d)

x=-8+3d+1-3d or -1+3d+8-3d

x= -7 or 7.
