Let the cost of 1 apple be Rs x
and the cost of 1 mango be Rs y
ATQ
2x+3y=86..............(1)

4x+y=112...............(2)
Solving (1) and (2) for x and y
4x+6y=172
4x+y=112
-. -. -
subtracting
6y-y=172-112
5y=60
y=60/5
y=12
=> 4x+12=112
4x=100
x=25

=> cost of an apple is Rs 25
