let I flow through Bulb 1

and i flow through Bulb 2

Bulb(1)=B1 consumes power 200 W=P(1)

B2 consumes power 100 W=P2

for bulb 1

P(1)=VI

200/250=I=0.8 A

for bulb 2

P(2)=Vi

100/250=i=0.4 A

Now resistances in bulbs will be [R(1)and R(2)]

R(1)=V/I and R(2)=V/i

R(1)=250/0.8=312.5 ohms.

R(2)=250/0.4=625 ohms

As resistances are in series

total resistances R

R=R(1)+R(2)

R=937.5 ohms

now P=V²/R

P=(250)²/937.5=

P=66.67 W
