Hi mate

Impulse:

It is a term that is used to describe or quantify the effect of force acting over time to change the momentum of an object. It is represented by the symbol J and usually expressed in Newton-seconds or kg m/s.

Two application of impulse:

  • Car airbags and cushioned gymnasiums are examples of using the concept of impulse to reduce the force of impact.

  • Having great racquet head speed increases the force on a tennis ball.

  • This decreases the impact time between the ball and racquet, thereby increasing the force of impact.

I Hope This Would Help You..
