Two APs have the same common difference. Difference between their 100 the term is 100 , what is the difference between their 1000th terms?

Difference between there 100 th term is 100

therefore, a100 - b100 = 100.......(1)

a+99d - (b+99d) = 100 (as they have some common difference)

a+99d-b-99d=100

a-b=100.... (2)

difference between there 1000th terms

a1000 - b1000 =

a+999d- (b+ 999d)

a+999d-b+999d

= a-d=

hence,from(2) we can say that

a1 - b1 = 100

hence the difference between there 1000 th term is hundred
